Chocolate Nutella Mug Cake

It’s exam time and this quick-and-easy snack will only take 5 minutes to make (including baking time) and will get you a good chocolate fix!

What You’ll Need: 

• 4 tbs flour
• 4 tbs white sugar
• 1/4 tsp baking powder
• 1 egg
• 3 tbs cocoa
• 2.5 tbs Nutella
• 3 tbs milk
• 3 tbs melted butter
• dash of vanilla
• 2 mugs
• 1 mixing bowl
• microwave

How To Do It Yourself: 

1. Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
2. Divide the batter up into two mugs so each mug is half full. This recipe makes 2 servings, you do not want to fill the mug up more than half way because it will volcano over when it is baking.
3. Put both in microwave for 2 minutes.
4. Check to see if it is done by sticking a toothpick into the middle of it and pulling it out. If it comes out clean, the cake is done, if there is batter on it, microwave it for a bit longer.

Tip

If you only want to make one serving, microwave one mug for 1.5 minutes and save the remaining batter by storing it in the fridge.

A good topping  for this cakes is a snack-pack container of chocolate pudding!
